About Me

I’ve been working in or around Information Technology for the past 21 years, and in that time have amassed a broad set of experiences ranging from programming, system administration, IP Telephony, network administration, Enterprise Architecture, business and organizational development, leadership, and coaching.

I live in Huntsville, AL with my wife, 3 kids, and 2 dogs. Besides spending time with the fam, my favorite activity is reading. I also enjoy gardening, baking, and anything to do with sci-fi.

I got my associates degree at Calhoun Community College, my bachelor degree at Western Governors University, and my masters at Auburn University.

How I Got Here

Leading is where I have found my calling. I am extremely passionate about growth, both my own self-improvement but also the development of others. In the end, when I look back on my life, I want to be able to say I made other people’s lives better for having known me. I work towards this by always looking out for ways I can help those around me.

A few years ago I started observing that many organizational leaders were doing abysmal jobs of growing and developing the people in their care. I figured if some of these folks could end up in these leadership roles, why couldn’t I? I crafted a plan to transform my career, which I am currently on track with.

Along the way I’ve developed skills around goal setting, self-improvement, and reading. I'm more than happy to share the tips nad tricks that I've picked up over the years.
